Star Striker Injured Again (Yep, no joke, again!)

Concerns have been raised into the training methods employed by the coaches at Team Gladstone after star striker Guy Gladstone was once again ruled out for 2 weeks as a result of a freak bicycle injury.

Gladstone was on a relaxing break in the beautiful village of Tam Coc on 24th February when he accidentally got his foot caught in the spokes of his Dad's bicycle, causing severe damage to his right foot and ankle.

Pictures taken just moments before the accident seem to show Gladstone in good spirits.
After being rushed to Ninh Binh hospital, X-rays showed no break and he was bandaged up and told not to walk for at least 7-10 days (or at least that is what was assumed, Google Translate was a little temperamental and the local doctors and nurses couldn't speak a word of English).

The Gladstone's then headed straight to Hanoi for a 2nd opinion and spent the next week visiting the Family Medical Clinic for daily treatment on the damaged foot.

Only on 6th March, was Guy finally able to put on a proper pair of shoes and reports indicate he is still walking with a slight limp.  Prior to that, he utilised a variety of transportation options.

Commenting on the injury, Gladstone's mother Shoshi said, "נו, די כבר, נמאס לי מכל הבתי חולים האלה"

Guy added, "I repeat, after the hospital nightmare of the Philippines, Saigon, I didn't expect to be back again so quickly.  Who'd have thought I would have been hospitalised 1, 2, 3 times in the first 4 months of our travelling?"

"Sorry, I can't talk right now, we've got Social Services at the door'," added Gladstone's father, Darren.
